Quick Pics, Lip Swatches

Hmm, I still wonder if I should continue buying MAC lipsticks. Very nice colors and such, but formula does leave a bit to be desired, especially the lustres and frosts. Maybe I've gotten used to it though.

MAC Black Knight: (Style Black, cremesheen) Applied straight from tube

What the color really looks like in real life:
(definetly doesn't photograph well. Also, you must be very precise in coloring in lip line!!)
Dsquared2's Nude Rose (Lustre):
(apologies for weird angle of the lips...;x)

What do you think of the colors?

LOTD: A few more pictures!

In these pictures I have on Besame's Besame Red lipstick and MAC High Tea topped with Aube Fruitina EX05 gloss.

Besame Red:
As you can see in the pictures, it's a gorgeous matte blue red. Unfortunately, as I had it on, it seemed to clash with my skintone and make it look very sallow. And it did also make my teeth look yellower. But this is a great red lipstick that I like to think of as retro, because it looks like the color Marilyn Monroe would wear.

MAC High Tea with Aube Fruitina EX05 gloss:
The gloss is very sheer, so it pretty much just makes High Tea's color stronger and glassy shiny. I like this combination for a nude lip.

Lip Combinations: MAC Sweetie

This item I recieved as an extra in a swap, and boy, am I glad I didn't pay full price for it. It looked pretty in the tube, as a warm plum but on the lips--yeesh, just clashed! Here are a few pics to persuade you that this definetly NOT for this NC20:

MAC High Tea

Wow, I've only had this for...maybe 3 weeks but I'm in LOVE! Whoever told me that it's more of an everyday lippie than a good nude one is definetly right. However, I still love it. Wowie...This may become a Holy Grail!!! But I still want to try MAC Cremesheen Creme D'nude.

Retails 14.50 at Mac store and counter locations everywhere or at maccosmetics.com.

After I got home from school, I started fooling around with MAC port red (LE from May's Naughty Nauticals) and a Dior liquid lipstick in 854 (so pretty!)

MAC Port Red: (washed out..)
