NOTD: China Glaze Recycle

With the release of the Nubar Fortress collection, it's been proven that grey is very on trend at the moment. Let's revisit an old favorite...China Glaze Recycle, released a few years ago.

Old photos that I only just got around to posting. Hoping to be able to post more often! I'm so very sorry, dear readers.

NOTD: Navy & Silver

In support of my Orlando Magic -- even as my hometown Chicago Bulls beat them on Saturday...no loss :) I love both teams.

Anyways, what I used:

Seche Vite base Coat
CND Top Coat
MAC Naughty Nauticals [soo gorgeous, May 08]
OPI Stars in My Eyes [holiday 07 I think..]

NOTD: China Glaze Emerald Sparkle

This is one of the most beautiful green shades out in nail lacquer right now. In fact, I'm going to call it THE most beautiful green. It's one of China Glaze's famous sparkly, almost but not quite glittery shades -- a la their famous Wizard of Ooh Ahz collection. I will let the pictures speak for themselves:

Beautiful. Anyone else out there loving greens? This is one of the only greens I like on me!

NOTD: OPI Here Today, Aragon Tomorrow

Here Today, Aragon Tomorrow is part of OPI's Spain collection for fall 2009. I was unsure about it when I first put it on, but guess what? It's actually noticeabley green, dark enough to be sophisticated but green enough to be a bit edgy without a fungus tinge. LOVE it. My only green I think that I'll be wearing.

What do you think? Will you be wearing green this season?

NOTD: Jill Stuart 31

I just realized how long ago my last Nail Of The Day post was! And since I LOVE this particular color that I have on now, I'd like to show it off!

What I Used:
Jill Stuart 31
Creative Nail Design top coat [super shiney]
Seche Vite base coat
3 nail stickers that I got in Taiwan. I regret not getting more as they are cheap, fun, and easy to apply!! So cute too!

Do you like it? Oh and Jill Stuart nail polish are SCENTED! :D With a rosey floral scent that lasts for about 3 days. SOO awesome *sniffs nails*!

NOTD: China Glaze Rodeo Fanatic

This is one of the colors I got in a mass China Glaze haul a few months ago, and I only got around to wearing it this week. It's from their Fall 2008 collection and I LOVE IT. Great quality and check out this color! Gorgeous, and rumored to be a dupe of the HTF MAC Whirlwind.

NOTD: Essie Shorty Pants

WOW, I love this color! It's exactly the yellow I've been looking for, not too golden but not too green either. But the formula leaves alot to be desired--it's streaky, and chips easily even with top and base coat. But what can I say--it came out the summer of 2008, and I got it for 30% off. No complaints here--the color is going to make me love it forever. I cannot count how many compliments I've gotten on this either!

NOTD: China Glaze Shower Together

What I used:
Creative Nail Design Super Shine Top Coat
China Glaze Shower Together
Seche Clear crystal clear base coat

I LOVE this color! I dont' know why--must be because I love blue, then I love teal...this is one amazing color! Even though it was part of the 2008 Spring China Glaze Ecollection, you can still get it at H2T for 2.99 (dang cheap!)

NOTD: Blue Glitter

What I used:
Shiseido Integrate BL321 (3 coats)
a random base coat I still have...

One of my main gripes with Integrate nail polish is the fact that they are used up so quickly--2 manis and the bottle is 1/5 gone already. Must be because they're so cheap!

NOTD: China Glaze Awaken

I got this some days ago, and (of course) wore it!

I used:
China Glaze Awaken (Romantique collection)
and on the middle fingers, ORLY Shine On Crazy Diamond top coats.

The second picture seems to be more accurate colorwise!

NOTD: Black and Red

This was my first time ever doing a bi-color nail! I used:

OPI Natural Nail Base Coat
OPI Black Onyx (for black, 2 coats)
Essie E! Live from the red carpet (for red, 2 coats)

I think I didn't do too bad for my first time, but definetly could use improvement, especially compared to the ladies over on MakeupAlley's nail board!

NOTD: Pink and Purple Glitter

For this NOTD, I used:

OPI Natural Nail Base Coat
OPI Black Onyx as base color (1 coat)
Shiseido Integrate RS361 nail polish (1 coat on top of OPI)

Here's how it turned out :)
