Review: MAC Smoke & Diamonds Starflash Eye Shadow

About: This was released in the MAC limited edition Starflash collection on July 31 (US), Europe August, Asia July 1st. This is a new formula from MAC.

Price: 14 USD, the same as any MAC eyeshadow. Completely worth it since a little pot will last you a long time.

Texture: Suuper buttery and pigmented! Blends like a dream! I'd compare this to shu uemura new pressed shadows in terms of texture.

Color: This is a gunmetal gray with gold flecks. In some light it appears greenish.

Lasting ability: Lasts all day on me with UDPP. Since I never use anything without UDPP, I cannot comment on that.

Packaging: In MAC's normal black packaging. I've already depotted it to save for B2M. Sleek and simple.

Notes: I ticked that I would buy this product again, but since I already have Shu IRbrown850 I don't think I actually will since both of them together will take a long time to finish. One of MAC's best, I can see this becoming a VHTF color like Moth Brown, Parrot, French Gray...MAC better make these perm!

Comparisions to other colors:
Stila Diamond lil: DL is a touch browner, imo. Great dupe.
Satin Taupe: Very different, warmer and browner.
Shu ME850: like Satin taupe, it is much warmer and bronzier.
Shu IR850: Another really good dupe, maybe a hint grayer.
MAC Magnetic Fields: Much browner and darker, definetly NOT a dupe.
Majolica Majorca SV821: A little warmer and plummer.
